Next Week ... 30 May 2011

Hi Girls,

This week has just zoomed by for me and I don't think I've achieved all that much!!!  Although I did finish the last layout for this current calendar!

You'll all be pleased to know that I went out and bought Sebastian another new bed, as the last new bed has been taken over by the pussycat with Sebastian not that happy about sharing - there's just not enough room for two!
Doesn't it make your heart weep.....!

A few more embossing folders arrived yesterday, Cuttlebug brand and they were discounted at the wholesalers, so you get to grab them at a great price as well!!  $6 each!!!!  Some are the original 4x6" size and some are 5x7" - grab them before they go!

Next weeks workshops is...
COLOUR BLOCKING   $18
Monday 7-9pm; Wednesday 12.30-2.30pm and Thursday 9.30-11.30am
Colour blocking is a great technique for making your page very symmetrical and gives wonderful clean lines to the overall layout.  I have used all photos on my double page and a mixture of photos and patterned blocks on the single layout - both with an equally stunning effect.  For the double layout you will need 6 portrait 3¾x5¾” photos, 4 landscape 3¾x5¾” photos and either 12 2x2” photos or scraps of patterned paper that will co-ordinate with your photos.  For the single layout you will need 3 portrait 4x6” photos and 2 square 4x4” photos - these will be need to be trimmed down by about a ¼”, so just keep that in mind when choosing your photos.  You will also need a title for your second page.

There are still some spots left for the Teresa Collins Stampmaker Demo & Workshop next Saturday 4th June, 9-11.30 am, $25 includes morning tea plus you get to keep the stamp you make!  Bookings essential, so book now!  If you would like to know more about the machine and how simple it is to use follow this link - http://www.teresacollinsstampmaker.com/

The next Scrap'n'Roast is Scrap Like a Queen theme on the 18th June, 4 - midnight, $16.  Still some vacancies for this fun evening, book before all the spots are gone.

A reminder that this week will be the last week I send out an email with the link to the blog.  You need to sign up to the email updates on the blog itself to receive the weekly email.

Until next week,
Happy Scrapping,
Mandy :-)
