Next Week ... 3rd September 2012

Hi everyone!!

How are you all keeping?  It's lovely to see the blossoms starting to appear, the spring weather teasing us whilst winter keeps pulling it back into line!  I can't wait to see my wisteria bloom - it is absolutely covered with blossom nodules, it is going to be so pretty!  You are all going to want to walk through the front gate just to wander and look up at the gorgeous blooms....once they happen :-)

Sorry about last week!!!  I was so busy with ballet photos, the mini album workshop and just stuff I completely forgot to do the weekly update!  But - you seemed to enjoy stamping all over your tissue paper and then scrunching it onto your cardstock :-)

So without further ado here's next weeks info...

Next Week Workshop is ...
Make Your Own Washi Tape   $16
Washi Tape is quite in vogue right now and there so many beautiful tapes on the market.  But….you have to buy whole rolls and it’s not always going to match all your layouts and cards - solution….make your own!  It’s very easy to do and lots of fun!  You will need 4 photos for this layout, 2 portrait @ 4x6”, 1 portrait @ 5¼x3½” and 1 landscape @ 6x3¾”.  You will also need your basic tool kit, inks, a title and a roll of magic tape that is ¾” wide - that is the standard width that is sold in those little disposable dispensors.

SCRAP'N'ROAST
$20
Saturday 15th September
4pm-midnight
Come along on a Saturday afternoon & evening for 8 hours of scrapping fun!  Bring your photos & tools then crop the night away.  A roast hot from the Weber & salad will be served for dinner.  Softies in the fridge and the kettle is always handy for a cuppa!  There are always nibbles on the table ...and yes - you might get some scrapping done!!!
$10 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.  Cancellations made 48 hours before and no-shows are liable to pay the balance of the evening.
Cost includes dinner, drink & nibbles – a great deal!
**Workshop loyalty card is not signed & no free classes valid for Saturday Scrap Nights.**

Thank you to those of you who attended the Mini Album Workshop last weekend - a great fun day as well as a beautiful mini to add to your collection!  I know the girls who stayed on for scrap'n'roast kept on going and decorated all their pages, as did I!  I have had some interest from two ladies who missed out and would love to do the album.  I need a minumum of 4 to run the workshop again, so .... if you are interested, let me know so we can make a date and make the album!!

My shows are fast approaching, they are going to be so much fun!   Unfortunately, I have to cancel a couple of Monday night workshops to fit in with the rehearsal schedule :-(  So on Monday the 24th September and Monday 1st October there will be no workshops.  There is room in the Thursday workshops if you'd like to come along then.

Well, no rest for the wicked they say.... so much to do, so little time!
Have a great weekend,
Happy Scrapping,
Mandy

Next Week ... 20th August 2012

Hello, hello :-)
Much more relaxed week in my household, I even managed to clean half the house!  (Only half, I can't go overboard now can I?)

Delivered all my hard work to the ballet school on Monday ... the feedback I've been receiving from the parents, children and the ballet school have been really positive and quite humbling!  I was so nervous, as you know, guess that's why I've been not so stressed this week :-)  Orders have begun to roll in already - excellent!!
If you haven't already, head on over to my new facebook photography page and hit like to keep updated with my photographic journey -

Next week's workshop is ...
Page Maps August   $20

This page is a beauty - 11 photos on this layout!!!!  A lovely large main landscape photo @ 8¼x5¾”, 4 landscape photos @ 3¾x2¾” and 6 square photos @ 1¾”.  The smaller photos pop off the page with a sewn mat, fantastic way for them not to get lost.  You will also need your basic tool kit, inks, paper piercer, embroidery needle and a title.

$45
Saturday 25th August, 10am-3pm

We will share our lunch, so please bring a plate of savoury lunch.  I will provide morning and afternoon tea and drinks.
