A hot one this weekend!!!  Jennifer's birthday tomorrow - luckily she opted for a pool party with an expected 37 degrees, phew!  (I might have to join them :-)

Attack Your Stash February   $10

Monday 7-9pm, Wednesday 12.30-2.30pm and Thursday 9.30-11.30am

Here's a sneak peek ;-)

I had so much fun with this attack!  I used lots of butterfly punches in different sizes and found butterfly printed scraps and punched them out, I think you’ll agree that the effect is quite stunning.  Of course you don’t have to use butterflies, but you will need to think of your theme and what punches (or slice/cricut) you are going to cut out.  You will need 6 photos.  One portrait @ 4¼”x7”; 1 landscape @ 4x3¼”; 1 @ 4”x4”, 1 landscape @ 4½”x3; 1 portrait @ 2¼”x3¼” and 1 portrait @ 1¾”x3”.  You will need 2 patterned papers for your background, 24 strips of scraps @ ¾”x12” - all different patterns and lots of scraps to punch or cut your shapes from.You will also need your basic tool kit, inks, punches (in the theme of your choice), foam squares and your title.

The next Scrap'n'Roast is on the 3rd March.  There are still 3 spots left.  $16 for 8 hours of scrapping heaven including a roast dinner, drinks, nibbles and dessert - that's a bargain!!!

Hi everyone!  Another week zooms by in a flash!  Haven't done anything except the essentials - guess I'll work out a new routine soon ... I hope :-)  Even forgot my glasses for band rehearsal and double booked myself one evening this week!!  Are there any pills to straighten out brain cells - LOL!

Page Maps February   $21

Here's a sneak peek...

I love the clean simple lines of this page map, I can see myself using this one quite a few times and getting a different result each time!  You will need 6 photos.  Three portrait @ 3”x5” and 3 landscape @ 3”x2½”.  You will also need your basic tool kit, inks, paper piercer, border punch, craft knife and your title.  You will cut out a journal block which you can hand write on or take home and computer journal.

Bookings are still open for the next all day workshop, only 4 places left.

Envelope Mini Album   $50   

10am - 4pm, 24th March

FULL KIT INCLUDED

This really cute mini album uses the Martha Stewart Score Board to make cardstock envelopes which will become the pages of our album.  Using a fantastic (and easy) binding method to put our album together you will love this little album. Three different paper kit themes to choose from, using a 6”x6” paper pad with coordinating cardstock stickers, there will be a kit for everyone to love.  You will need your basic tool kit, inks, border punch (or two), a decorative corner rounder, strong adhesive, MS Score Board, bone folder and your hot glue gun.

We will have a shared lunch, lounging on the deck, so bring along a plate of something savoury to share and I will provide the morning and afternoon tea treats plus your drinks for the day. 

 PLACES LIMITED … BOOKINGS ARE ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL.

Well, back to making more cupcakes for Jennifer's birthday next weekend and a wedding card for this weekend, maybe even a white cupcake!!!

Hi everyone!

Well an exciting week for me, back in the workforce! Enjoying that I can still drop Jennifer off to school and be back to pick her up.  

Tomorrow, 11th, is Scrap'n'Roast and there are still spaces available.  $16 for 8 hours of scrapping plus roast dinner, dessert, munchies, drinks...it's a bargain!  Ring or email, even facebook me to book in by 5pm tonight (Friday).

4 Page Maps in 1    $20

Monday 7-9pm; Wednesday 12.30-2.30pm and Thursday 9.30-11.30am

Every month I receive page maps and sketches from the heaps of blogs and websites that I have subscribed to, as you know!  I have a heap of 6”x12” page maps that I haven’t used and thought I would use 4 of them to create a double page layout.  This is where you have to think about your photos, will you have 4 sets of photos or all one theme?? You will need 9 photos.  Page 1 - 1 landscape @ 4½”x3¾”; 2 portrait @ 2¼”x3¾. Page 2 - 1 portrait 4”x6”; 2@2”x2”.  Page 3 - 1 landscape @ 5½”x4”.  Page 4 - 2 portrait @ 2½”x3½”.  You will also need your basic tool kit, inks, fancy corner rounder, border punch, circle punch (3/4” or 1”) and your title and embellishments.  Now, embellishments...I kind of went to town with flowers and pearls combined with lots of fussy cutting on the papers, but depending on your theme, you don’t have to go overboard like it did!

Hey everyone,

What a great week ...  

• The kids have gone back to school and are back into routine - Yay!
• I received a job offer that allows me to continue my scrap business, do the school drop-offs and have school holidays off - Yay!
• Got confirmation for the Copic Certification 1 and 2 classes, so have booked flights and accommodation to Melbourne - Yay!
• Started a Business e-course online - Yay! 
• I got enough likes on the new facebook business page to get a user name - Yay!
• Been receiving lots of ideas from everyone with ways to promote this business - Yay!

More Border Punch Madness   $19

Monday 7-9pm; Wednesday 12.30-2.30pm and Thursday 9.30-11.30am

We are really going to go mad with border punches on this page!  I used 9 different punches and you can use as many or as little as you like to create this stunning border effect on your page.  You are going to need 6 photos for this double layout.  One portrait @ 6 ½” x 6”; 1 portrait 3”x6”; 1 portrait 3”x5” and 2 @ 2”x2”.  You will also need your basic tool kit, inks, border punches (remember I used 9), shape punch (I used a butterfly), journal pen (I used a white gel pen) and your title.

Scrap'n'Roast   $16   

11th February 4pm-midnight

Come along on a Saturday afternoon and evening for 8 hours of scrapping fun!  Bring your photos and tools then crop the night away.  A roast hot from the Weber and salad will be served for dinner, followed by dessert.  Softies in the fridge and the kettle is always handy for a cuppa!  There are always nibbles on the table ...and yes - you might get some scrapping done!!! 

$5 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.  Cancellations made 24 hours before and no-shows are liable to pay the balance of the evening.

Cost includes dinner, drink & nibbles – a great deal!
