Next Week ... 13th June 2011

Hello, hello...

Getting ready for a nice long weekend with family and friends.  Hope you have some wonderful plans too.  Make sure you enjoy the public holiday this Monday that I have arranged for your pleasure to celebrate the occasion of my birthday!!!!  (Next year the Queen can have it back!)

Lots of fun was had last Saturday at the Teresa Collins Stampmaker Demo & Workshop!  We made a set of cute bunting stamps and used them for the title across our layouts...

Once everyone's machine arrives, I can't wait to see what stamps you all come up with!!
If you are interested in seeing the Stampmaker in action, just let me know - I am more than happy to give you a demo :-)

There's a new online magazine about to be launched called etcetera.  Kim Archer is the brains behind the new mag and it promises to be fantastic!  I have done many online classes with Kim in the past and have always loved the end result! Head on over to http://www.etzceteramagazine.com.au/ and register your interest.  The magazine launches on the 1st July - I can't wait to see it!

Next Week's Workshop is ...
Attack Your Stash    $10
**No Workshop on Monday**
Wednesday 12.30-2.30pm & Thursday 9.30-11.30am

We’ve all got them … papers that we’ve bought or have come in a pack and we look at them and think - OMG, what will I ever do with that?  So we are going to change the face of those papers forever and give them the Cinderella treatment. (But they won’t turn into pumpkins after midnight - this a forever spell :-)  You will need 2 12x12” cardstocks for your background, 3 patterned papers @ 12x12” to co-ordinate, 1 double sided 12x12” patterned paper, a title, embellishments (stickers, flowers, buttons, punchies, pearls, whatever you think will work in a mass of destruction, oops, I mean mass of explosion of embellishments!), 2 12” pieces of lace or border punched strips, notepaper, plus your basic tool kit and 2 landscape 4x6” photos and 2 portrait 4x6” photos.

The next Scrap'n'Roast is on the 18th June, 4pm -midnight
Only 3 spots left!!!
Scrap Like a Queen is the theme of the evening!
Come along on a Saturday afternoon & evening for 8 hours of scrapping fun!  Bring your photos & tools then crop the night away.  A roast hot from the Weber & salad will be served for dinner.  Softies in the fridge and the kettle is always handy for a cuppa!  There are always nibbles on the table ...and yes - you might get some scrapping done!!!

$5 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.  Cancellations made 24 hours before and no-shows are liable to pay the balance of the evening.

Cost includes dinner, drink & nibbles – a great deal!

**Workshop loyalty card is not signed & no free classes valid for Saturday Scrap Nights.**

Gatefold Mini Album
This gorgeous Gatefold Mini Album uses some stunning K & Co papers and coordinating embellishments.  We will be making our own ‘paper bags’ from double sided papers, along with the pockets, tags galore, this will be a wonderful mini album to keep or give as a gift.

You will need your basic tool kit, inks, a stylus or scoring board, a border punch or two (I used the same border punch throughout, but you can use different ones on each pocket).
**A request to revisit making the small 3D roses for the cover, so if you have a hot glue gun, please bring it along too and we will make some for the front cover.

Bring some lunch to share (just a small amount), I will provide the morning & afternoon tea, tea, coffee and cool drinks.

PLACES LIMITED - only 4 spots left!!!

BOOKINGS ARE ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL.

Hope you all have a fantastic long weekend with plenty of photo opportunities!
Happy Scrapping,
Mandy :-)
