Brrrr.... back to winter!
How are you all going? Forbidden Broadway is coming to a close, it has been such fun! Back in the pit for the next two weeks playing 'Copacabana the Musical'. What have you been up to this week?
Bookings are now open for these upcoming events...
Christmas Banner Fun!!!
How would you like to make a Christmas banner to hang somewhere around your home this Chrissy??? Here's what I am proposing...
There will be either 9 (for - CHRISTMAS) or 14 (for - MERRY CHRISTMAS) people in this swap.
Each person gets assigned 1 letter and you make the required number of banners. Once done, they all get swapped! (Kind of like an ATC swap.)
Pretty neat, hey?! We will have basic guidelines - colours, size of
the banner, where the eyelets will go, but the rest is up to you. What
you will end up with is the a banner spelling out the word Christmas (or
Merry Christmas if there's enough people) that you can string up for a
cute, unique, one of a kind, hanging decoration :-) (okay, 9 or 14 of a
kind - but that's pretty close to one of a kind!!!) Please email or
see me during workshops if you are interested. A couple of weeks to
think about it, then put your name down by the 28th October. Details
will be given out on the 1st of November and you will have until the 1st
of December to give the banners back to me for distribution. It's
going to be fun!!! There is no cost to join in with this swap, accept your materials making the banners - which can come from your stash!
Christmas Card Workshop
17th November, 10am - 3pm
I've just started making the cards for a workshop, so unsure of the cost yet (around the $25 mark)...but you can start booking in now!! Full templates are provided so you can make these cute step cards over and over again. We will also be colouring our stamped images, so if you are a Copic girl you can use them or if you prefer they will be coloured in with watercolour pencils...or a combination of both. (Only watercolour pencils will be provided for the workshop as this is not a Copic lesson.) A day workshop, so we will do a shared lunch.
**This workshop is not for beginners.

NO WORKSHOP MONDAY
I just had to scrap these photos of my cat and dog sharing a beanbag in front of the fire! This sketch was perfect for the photos with a little whimsy thrown in. We will be making our embellishments from our leftover papers, so they will coordinate perfectly with our layout - of course!! You will need 4 photos for this layout, 2 @ 4x6” landscape and 2 @ 4x6” portrait. You will also need your basic tool kit, inks, 1” circle punch, stapler and a title.
Here's hoping the weather will get warmer soon, it is spring after all!
Happy Scrapping,
Mandy :-)
