Well, the school holidays are almost over!! Haven't really done all that much! How about you?
Tomorrow is the GIANT SCRAP'N'TREASURE Sale, I have been busy going through stuff to yellow sticker for sale! Remember all the 'normal' stock is 25% off the marked price, so it's a good day to grab a bargain! The workshop tables are covered in bargains!!! See you there between 9am and 3pm :-)
Next week's workshop is ...
Attack Your Stash - Grandma's Garden $10
Monday 7-9pm and Thursday 9.30-11.30am
Do you remember the quilting pattern called Grandma’s Garden? Lots and lots of hexagons slowly paper pieced, then sewn together to create a quilt… Well I’m not going to make you sew them altogether, but I am going to make you cut out lots of hexagons from your scrap stash to create a wonderful background for your layout!! You will need 5 photos. 2 @ 5x3½” landscape; 2 @ 2¾x2¾”; 1 @ 2¾x5” landscape. You will need 2 papers or cardstock for your background, ½ sheet of patterned paper for a photo mat, ½ sheet of double sided patterned paper, lots of scraps to cut hexagons out of (I will have templates for you), 1 full sheet and ½ sheet of cardstock for hexagon mats. You will also need your basic tool kit, inks, a title, embellishments and some bling bits.
Bookings for the Copic Skin Workshop on the 28th July are now closed. If you are still wanting to do this workshop, I can't guarantee the arrival of the skin markers by the time of the workshop.
The next Scrap'n'Roast is on the 28th July and there is one spot left. A great evening to finish off projects or start new ones, lots of fun, laughter along with yummy food! Book now!
Keep warm and Happy Scrapping,
Mandy :-)
